Experiencing online harm can be deeply distressing. Whatever you are feeling right now — fear, anger, shame, or confusion — those feelings are valid, and you do not have to carry them alone.
Beyond friends and family, trained professionals are available to listen, support you, and help you find your footing. Some avenues of support are:
For support relating to online harms
If you are unsure of your next step, SHECARES can help. Singapore's first dedicated support centre for victims of online harm, SHECARES can advise on practical steps to address what has happened to you. Their trained counsellors understand the online landscape, can walk you through your options, and are there to support you through the distress that online harm can cause.
Provides support for making reports to the Online Safety Commission, preparing an online harm notice, counselling and free legal assistance at legal clinics held every 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday of the month, 7pm–9pm (by appointment only).
